Vacant Dallas Apartment Building Destroyed in Saturday Night Fire

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- A Dallas apartment building is now in ashes.

Nobody was injured after the vacant apartment building burnt to the ground in Saturday night. Dallas Fire crews responded to the incident at around 9:15 at the intersection of North Lancaster Avenue and East 5th street. WFAA-TV reports that the building had been under construction.

Officials say the two-story building was completely engulfed in flames by the time they arrived. Firefighters were able to declare the fire extinguished in just over an hour. Investigators say they are not able to examine the interior of the building in order to determine the cause of the fire.
