
DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – North Texans looking for something to do this weekend to beat the August heat can take advantage of three area museums reopening their doors after being closed for months amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The Dallas Museum of Art, The Dallas Holocaust and Civil Rights Museum, and The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History are also reopening with museums to follow suit in coming weeks. Hours and days of operation vary based on specific safety protocol.
Other Dallas museums plan to open in coming weeks.
The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Kimbell Art Museum, and Amon Carter Museum of American Art are also reopened and welcoming guests.
