North Texas Couple Jailed After Their 3-Week Old Baby Was Found in Bucket of Tar

Princeton, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A couple in Princeton, in unincorporated Collin County is locked up in the county jail after authorities say they disposed of the body of their baby in a bucket of tar.

The child’s parents, Roland and Donna Grabowski are charged with child abandonment and abuse of a corpse and are expected to face additional charges. Acting on a tip about the missing 3-week old, deputies found the infants’ remains in a bucket of tar in a shed behind their home.

The Grabowski’s said they woke up and found their infant, Micah, deceased in their bed however they did not call authorities.

The medical examiner is working to determine the cause of the infants death. It’s believed that the baby died in late July.

Collin County Sheriff Jim Skinner told reporters, “…I’ve seen a lot of crazy things but this is the first time I’ve found a dead infant in a bucket of tar and hopefully the last,”

Princeton is located northeast of the metroplex in Collin County.
