DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – An arrest has been made in the burglary of a COVID-19 testing site in Dallas County.

The night before the site opened in Pleasant Grove in mid-July, Police said testing equipment was stolen, forcing the site to delay its opening. According to Parkland Hospital, 39-year-old Thomas Glenn Prater is now in custody in Kaufman County, charged in the burglary.

Officials said Prater was identified by an anonymous caller and a Balch Springs Officer who had recently arrested him.
