TYLER (WBAP/KLIF News) – Texas lawmaker Louie Gohmert, R-Tyler, has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.
Politico reports his status was confirmed during a COVID-19 pre-screen at the White House Wednedsay.
Gohmert, who was refused to wear a mask, was one of several Texas officials that were scheduled to accompany President Trump during his trip to West Texas today.
Now some on Capitol Hill are expressing concern about the possibility of exposure.
Gohmert participated in a House Judiciary Committee hearing to question Attorney General William Barr on Tuesday.
ACTUALLY… here is a video of AG Barr and Gohmert.
While Barr arrived with a mask, it was off when he walked into the hearing room, so both men were not wearing masks at this time. pic.twitter.com/xm6wuq6QvW

Gohmert’s office has not issued a statement about the situation. He’s one of several U.S. lawmakers to test positive for COVID-19.
