North Texas COVID-19 Numbers Continue to Rise

TEXAS (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- North Texas sees another rise in COVID-19 case numbers.

Dallas County on Sunday reported 800 new cases of COVID-19 and one additional death. This brings the county total to 46,800 with 605 deaths.

Dallas hospitals continue to fill up with over 4000 of the nearly 6,000 total available beds being occupied and nearly 670 of the 950 available ICU beds are in use. however just 362 of the 1000 available ventilators are in use

Tarrant county reporting 353 new cases and four deaths. this brings the county total to 25,500 cases of the virus, and 348 deaths.

Denton county reports 78 new cases of the virus. countywide total now at just over 6100. 3300 Denton county residents have made full recoveries

Collin county reported 80 new cases on Saturday bringing the total to just 5760 with 74 deaths.

Texas now has 392,000 confirmed cases of the virus. over 5,000 Texans have died.
