Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A disgraced ex-Dallas mayor pro tem who is in prison on federal corruption charges wants a release to home confinement because of coronavirus concerns.
The lawyer for 68-year old Dwaine Caraway says his client has underlying medical conditions that put him at high risk for suffering complications from the virus, according to the Dallas Morning News.
in 2018, Caraway resigned from the Dallas City Council and pleaded guilty to taking about 450-thousand in bribes from the people behind the ruination of the former student transportation agency, Dallas County Schools.
