(WBAP/KLIF) — The Metroplex has now topped 70,000 COVID-19 cases and more than 900 deaths. However, the mortality rate has dropped to an historic low of under 1.3%.
Dallas county health officials reported almost 1,200 additional positive tests and 13 deaths, including two victims in their 20’s. Tarrant county lists 474 new cases, while Collin and Denton counties combined for 235 additional cases and 3 fatalities.
Texas is nearing 308,000 cases with more than 3,700. The discovery of more Coronavirus cases continues in texas with over 10,200 reported, Friday.
Dallas county lists over 39,000 cases and 513 deaths. Tarrant county is nearing 21,000 positive tests and 288 fatalities. Collin county topped 5,100 infections and 64 deaths, while Denton reported almost 4,800 cases and 42 deaths.
