Dallas County Reports More than 1,000 New COVID-19 Cases for Third Straight Day

DALLAS COUNTY (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- North Texas COVID-19 numbers continue to rise.

Tarrant county on Sunday reported 585 new cases of COVID-19 and three deaths.

Collin county with 112 and Denton county with 59 newly confirmed cases bringing their combined county totals to nearly 4800.

Dallas county reports quadruple digits for the third day in a row with 1,062 cases, bringing the county total to almost 26 thousand. The virus has also killed 395 Dallas County residents.

Dallas hospitals continue to fill up. Over 25 hospitals reported that 65% of beds and 67% of ICU beds are currently occupied but only 37% of ventilators are in use
