
Texas (WBAP/KLIF) – Several North Texas bars saw their permits temporarily suspended over the weekend for allegedly violating COVID-19 reopening requirements.
The businesses include, Marty’s Live and Harris’ House of Heroes in Dallas and The New PR’s in Fort Worth which were issued emergency orders for a 30-day suspension.
During what’s been dubbed ‘Operation Safe Open’ across Texas, the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) found evidence to suspend the permits of 12 bars total statewide.
The TABC tweeted a video of the scene inside The New PRs in Fort Worth:

Bars are restricted to 50% indoor capacity according to Governor Greg Abbott’s phased reopening plan.
