FRISCO (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- Dak Prescott and the Cowboys are again working towards a long term deal.
After months of uncertainty, sources confirm Dallas Cowboys star quarterback Dak Prescott plans on signing a franchise tender with the organization worth 31.4 million dollars on Monday. This tag will ensure that Prescott will stay with the team through the 2020 season.
Even with the tenure, the two sides still have until July 15th to negotiate a long term deal.
The tender mean Prescott will be obligated to attend training camp whether or not a long term deal is reached.
This deal comes after the cowboys offered Prescott 5 year deal worth 175 million dollars earlier in the off season but he declined.
