(WBAP/KLIF) — Texas has again hit a record number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19. more than 2,500 new cases were reported on Wednesday, by far the largest single-day total in the Lone Star State.
The more than 2,100 hospital admissions marks a third consecutive day a new high has been reached, as Coronavirus cases are on the rise.
It’s the opinion of some local officials and health experts that the worsening numbers are due to businesses re-opening and a the public’s complacency with social distancing.
