(WBAP/KLIF) — The White House may be mulling over an idea to reduce the U.S. military presence in Europe. Reports have surfaced that around 10,000 troops may be sent home from Germany. According to the Heritage Foundation’s Jim Carafano, the forces stationed in Germany are vital.
The United States maintains several military bases, hospitals, and airfields in support of world-wide operations. Troop reduction rumors originated from a memo, but the White House has yet to confirm the move.
