ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- An assisted living facility in Arlington has been hit hard by COVID-19.
44 people in connections to the Meadowbrook Memory Care Community in Arlington have tested positive for Coronavirus, nine more still waiting on results.
Of those that tested positive 30 are residents and 14 are employees. The Arlington Fire Department began testing every employee and resident after one employee tested positive over a week ago. 59 residents have tested negative.
Assisted living facilities continue to be among the hardest hit communities by COVID-19 across the country.
Tarrant County on Sunday reported 77 new cases of the virus, and two deaths.
