Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – Fort Worth City Council on Thursday voted to allow a curfew put in place earlier this month to expire. The curfewwas issued in response to protests that turned chaotic over the weekend.
Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price says emotions are in reaction to the police death of George Floyd in Minnesota, but she believes people have a right to protest.
She says the city is going to move forward with some suggestions that came from citizen speakers at Wednesday’s city council meeting.
