Dallas County Judge And Dallas Mavericks Team Up to Provide Masks For Protesters

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- Protest continue in Dallas over the death of George Floyd. Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins has expressed his concerns about the potential spread of COVID-19 through these large gatherings.

Jenkins and the Dallas Mavericks are now teaming up to attempt to reduce the chance of spreading the virus by providing masks and hand sanitizers to those that need them at protests.

“If you don’t have it you do now,” said Jenkins.

Jenkins is also encouraging social distancing at these gatherings.

“We’re gonna give you the space you need to be six feet apart,” he said.

Protesters can find Dallas Police and ask for a mask and hand sanitizer.
