(WBAP/KLIF) — The Coronavirus pandemic has greatly impacted the Fort Worth business community. In an effort to aid business owners and workers recover, Mayor Betsy Price announced the creation of “Fort Worth Now” in early May.
Tuesday, Price introduced lawyer Jarratt Watkins as the organization’s director. Watkins says he’s ready to help rebuild fort worth’s economy. Jarratt will spearhead a group of 23 business leaders in utilizing upwards of $425,000 to revitalizing Fort Worth businesses.
Jarratt says his background will prove key in his new role. He is taking a 12-month leave from the Kelly Hart & Hallman law firm, where he specialized in business mergers and acquisitions.
