DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Arboretum will reopen June 1st with new guidelines for visitors.

The arboretum will reopen for advanced time ticketing. Reservations will be for four hours and visitors will be given colored wristbands which indicate the exit time.

Groups will be limited to five people and groups must maintain social distancing from other groups.

“We created a large one-way path through the entire arboretum,” said Vice President of Gardens Dave Forehand. “That way we don’t have people running back into each other.”

People will be expected to follow guidelines for wearing face coverings.

Minimal food service will be available so people are encouraged to bring their own food and beverage. Water fountains will be shut off.

Members who get in free will also have to reserve a time block.
