DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – President Donald Trump said Thursday that the future of the American economy is bright, despite current hardships prompted by the coronavirus pandemic.
The President joined WBAP’s ‘Rick Roberts Show’ and said he has no doubt the country will bounce back from the pandemic, sooner than later.
“You’re going to be back soon and you watch,” said President Trump. “You’re going to have a transitional third quarter and the fourth quarter will be good.”
He said he believes next year will be a better year for the economy than 2019 was.
“I think we’re going to be in incredible shape,” he assured Roberts. “We can do some tremendous things during times like this.”
The President said the recovery will start to become evident as more states reopen for business.
