DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- DFW residents will soon be allowed to shop at Galleria Dallas again.

Retail stores in Texas will be allowed to re-open at 25% capacity on May 1st. But the Galleria has decided to wait until Monday, May 4th just to make sure the massive shopping mall is fully sanitized and healthy for both customers and employees.

“The safety of our employees and our guest is our top priority,” said Holly Quartaro with Galleria Dallas.

Both employees and customers will be required to wear face masks while shopping and all community seating including chairs and tables at the food court have been removed in order to encourage social distancing.

Store operators are able to decide whether or not they would like to open or remain closed. You can find out more about which stores will be open at galleriadallas.com.
