Grocery Stores Taking More Precautions to Prevent Spread of COVID-19

(WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- Major grocery stores are taking extra steps to protect customers and employees from the Coronavirus.

One of the major precautions being taken by Tom Thumb, Wal-Mart, Kroger, and Albertson’s is installing Plexiglas sneeze-guards at registers to protect cashiers and customers.

Target, Wal-Mart, and Costco will start limiting the amount customers allowed inside the stores, while also asking shoppers to limit the amount of additional shoppers they bring with them.

Wal-Mart has also shipped thermometers to all their stores and each store will be required to take each employees temperature before the start of every shift. Employees with a fever of over 100 will be sent home and will not be allowed to return to work until they are fever free for at-least three days.
