DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- A Dallas chef has prepared hundreds of meals and is delivering it to doctors and medical staff at UT Southwestern Tuesday and Parkland Hospital Friday.
Luke Rogers Executive Chef of Savor in Klyde Warren Park said they made all sorts of fresh pastas for those working to treat patients for COVID-19.
“With the restaurant not running the way that is has ever before, we pivoted and said what can we do to help those who have done so much for us,” said Rogers.
The plan is to continue delivering meals again in the following weeks. “As long as we can do it, we will do it. We’re dedicated to support the individuals that are working the front lines of this,” said Rogers.
