Dallas County Judge Request Help From National Guard

DALLAS COUNTY (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- As COVID-19 continues to rapidly spread across Dallas County, citizens should expect to see more National Guard members in the area.

Dallas county Judge Clay Jenkins says they have requested the help from national guard disease detectives to work with possibly infected patients.

“If a person gets sick and they were around other people we have to do disease detective work also known as epidemiological tracing so that we can find the people they have been around to keep you all safe,” said Jenkins.

Jenkins wants to assure citizens that these disease detectives are not law enforcement and there is nothing to worry about.
