(WBAP/KLIF) — Flight attendants with two North Texas airlines are cleared to protect themselves from Coronavirus Southwest and American airlines gave the “green light” to allow flight attendants to wear face masks to protect against COVID-19.
Fort Worth-based American Airlines made their policy change on Sunday to allow it’s workers to wear masks and gloves when working with passengers. 16-thousand flight attendants with Dallas-based Southwest got the word Monday that protective face masks were approved.
According to the Dallas Morning News, Delta and United Airlines already allow flight attendants to wear face masks.
