Dallas Extends Disaster Declaration Until April 29th

(WBAP/KLIF) DALLAS, TX — Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson signed an extension, Thursday, making the city’s State of Disaster Declaration effective until April 29th.  Johnson feels with 55 cases of COVID-19 in the Dallas area, citizens safety comes first.

The declaration was extended after a special city council meeting in which the council voted to continue city-wide restrictions.  The mayor initially declared the state of disaster on March 12th.

Many of the restrictions are creating economic hardships on local businesses and individuals all over North Texas.
