E-Learning Begins In the Frisco ISD

Frisco (WBAP/KLIF) –  More than 63,000 students in the Frisco ISD begin on-line learning Tuesday.  They are being asked to log on and complete daily assignments that will be due at the end of the week.  The district is asking teachers not to grade any of the work given to students, but some high school teachers are conducting quizzes and exams online for a grade. Lessons will be limited to 20-25 minutes per day per class for high school students.  Students in lower grades will have less work.  The district is working to get electronic devices to students who don’t have one.  Teachers will still be paid. The district cancelled classes this week in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
