Dallas County Health Officials Aim to Curb Spread of COVID-19

(WBAP/KLIF) DALLAS COUNTY, TX — Dallas County is trying to stop the spread of Coronavirus.  Judge Clay Jenkins initiated an order to ban gatherings of 250 or more to combat the spread of COVID-19 in Dallas county.

He further stated the county strongly discouraged group gatherings of ten persons or more belonging to the at-risk group.

Health & Human Services Director Phillip Haung says residents have a responsibility to adhere to social distancing to prevent the spread to residents over 60 and those with underlying chronic health conditions.

Meanwhile, a ninth Coronavirus case has been reported. The latest presumptive positive case is a Dallas resident in their 80’s.
