DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- The Coronavirus continues to make its way across the United States but is only slowly making its way into Texas with only 8 confirmed cases in the state, none of which are in Dallas County.
After speaking at Dallas City Hall, U.S. Representative Collin Allred says we need to be prepared for a possible outbreak in the area.
“The most important preventative measures we can take today are to stay calm and practice simple but effective (safety) techniques,” said Allred.
Simple effective techniques include washing your hands for 20 seconds after using the restroom and before eating.
The number of confirmed cases in the U.S. has now crossed the 500 mark, which spans across 34 states.
