Some Dallas Citizen’s Think Super Tuesday Re-Count is Necessary

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- The recent discovery of uncounted ballots from super Tuesday has led to Dallas County officials requesting a re-count.

The petition for a re-count was filed late Friday after Dallas County election administrator Toni Pippins-Pool said that she discovered 44 flash drives that held voted which were not counted in the final vote. Some Dallas citizens agree with the request for a re-count.

“Even if it doesn’t change the outcome it shows the importance of voting in a democracy,” said Dallas citizen Ryan Anderson.

It is not yet known which polling location went unaccounted for or if they were party-specific or joint voting centers. Pippins-Pool believes that almost 10% of her office was not counted.
