Texas Instruments Cancels Major International Conference in Dallas Due to Coronavirus

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- The rapidly spreading Coronavirus has forced multiple major crowd events across the country to cancel. The latest one to fall victim is the Texas Instruments International Conference at the Dallas Convention Center, which draws a crowd of thousands from different countries.

Texas Instruments released the following statement.

“In light of the growing concerns around large meetings and travel due to the coronavirus, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the T³ International Conference in order to prioritize attendees’ health and safety, as well as that of our employees and the community. Thank you for your patience while we work through this decision.”

Multiple upcoming events at the Dallas Convention Center including the Dallas Auto Show and Dallas Fan Expo are fearing cancellation but are doing everything they can to stay on schedule. These precautions include a massive spike in the number of hand sanitizers and a bigger janitorial staff.
