TARRANT COUNTY (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- Long lines and frustration grew on Super Tuesday due to voting machines being divided up by political party, a decision that was made by the political parties themselves.
This particularly effected democratic voters. Just over 1700 machines were set aside for Republican voters while a little over 1000 were set aside for Democrats.
“It just made me think technology is impeding democracy,” said one Tarrant County voter.
Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley hopes to fix this come November.
“First of all we’re gonna be using one machine,” said Whitley.
Whitley also hopes to get more poll workers and better training.
