DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Thousands of jobs will be available this week through a City of Dallas job fair.
The ‘Dallas Hires’ event will showcase 3,300 available jobs across city services and government. Mayor Pro-Tem Casey Thomas said the city is trying to “grow it’s own.”
“We have a lot of young people and those who are not so young who love to have an opportunity to work for the city,” Thomas said.
Jobs include everything from working for DART to being a city employee. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at Red Bird Mall. The City of Dallas, Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas and Community Council of Greater Dallas are organizing the job fair.
