DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- After being loved by fans for being able to predict plays in NFL games, Tony Romo’s next prediction is an easy one, and that is his wallet will always be full. The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback signed a historic deal with CBS sports on Friday.
The deal is worth around $17-million per season, making him the highest paid sports announcer in history. This record almost doubles the previous NFL high of $8-million.
The new contract has Romo agreeing to well over 5 years with CBS, making it worth over $100-million.
