(WBAP/KLIF) FORT BRAGG, NC — A midland, Texas, soldier stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina has been arrested for severely beating an elderly couple.
25-year-old Jacob Lee broke into the couple’s home in Southern Pines and attacked them. Police say lee beat them with a blunt object, while also punching, kicking, and biting them.
The Fayetteville Observer reports that 73-year-old Donald Naysmith and his 75 year old wife, Caroline, were seriously injured in Sunday’s attack.
The army says Lee is a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne. He is currently in jail on a $300-hundred bond.
