TEXAS (WBAP/KLIF)- Multiple factors could be causing gas prices to spike all across Texas. Daniel Armbruster with triple a confirms a consistent rice in prices could be coming.
“State-wide we’re looking at gas prices rising for the first time since January about six weeks,” said Armbruster.
The state wide average price-per-gallon has risen six cents since last week and Armbruster doesn’t see it dropping anytime soon. But despite this increase, Texas gas prices remain some of the lowest in the country.
Market analysts say gas prices could be volatile over the next few weeks as global markets adjust to the impact of the Coronavirus as well as U.S. gasoline demand and stock level numbers.
