TARRANT COUNTY(WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- Tarrant County is attempting to increase voter turnout by providing free rides to the polls. Tarrant County Public Information Officer Bill Hannah says it’s a simple process.
“For example in Fort Worth on Trinity Metro you can just show your drivers license or voter registration card and get a ride to and from polls all across the county,” said Hannah.
Tarrant County will also be offering a ride share program where you can book a ride 24-48 hours in advance.
Early Voting for the primaries starts Tuesday February 18th and election day is March third. To find a polling location near you and where you can get a ride, visit tarrantcounty.com.
