(WBAP/KLIF) DALLAS, TX — Street racing caused the death of a man, Sunday morning, when one of the cars crashed into the victim’s vehicle.
45 year old Kendrick Lyons was stopped at the intersection of Cushing drive and Masters in Dallas, when his car was hit by one of the racers.
The impact ejected Lyons over three lanes of traffic into a front yard where he died.
The man’s sister Diedra says the family was planning to celebrate Kendrick’s birthday on Tuesday. According to WFAA, both racers are in custody with an unidentified 23 year old facing a charge of racing causing death.
