CYPRESS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A 3-year-old Houston-area girl died Saturday in a tragic accident in her family’s driveway.
The Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said one of her parents accidentally left the family’s car in neutral in the driveway while unloading items.
The vehicle rolled back and ran over the toddler.
The was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The incident happened in Cypress, just northwest of Houston.
Chief Gonzalez said the department’s prayers go out to the family.
