Dallas Man Shot by Person Who Came to His Home Looking for Work

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A Central Oak Cliff man was shot and killed by a man who came to his front door looking for work, according to Dallas police.

55-year old Raul Presas was at his home on Tyler Street around 7:45 Monday night when witnesses say the two men briefly fought before Presas was shot in the chest. The suspect ran off and is still at-large.

A person of interest seen running from the home was arrested on an unrelated warrant.

Anyone with information is asked to call Dallas Police.

Presas’ murder marked Dallas’ 12th this year.
