Washington (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas area congressman John Ratcliffe has been added to President Trump’s impeachment defense team. The white house made the announcement Monday night. Ratcliffe is a former federal prosecutor who President Trump picked last summer to be the new Director of National Intelligence. His nomination was dropped within a few days after senators in both parties questioned his qualifications. Ratcliffe later impressed the President with his impassioned defense of Trump during the televised House impeachment hearings.
