(WBAP/KLIF) — PLANO, TX — An early morning motorcycle accident claimed the life of a man on the North Central Expressway, Monday.
According to police, the unidentified man was riding a Challenger moped along Highway 75 near Sam’s Club in Plano at around 1:26 am. He was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by 20 year old Illiane Quevedo Meza and knocked to the pavement.
The man was then run over by another vehicle driven by a Grand Prairie man. The motorcycle rider died of his injuries at the scene.
Meza was stopped a short time later and arrested for suspicion of D-W-I and failure to stop. Highway 75 was shut down while emergency crews were on the scene.
