Almost 700,000 vehicles are being recalled in the United Sates because the fuel pumps may fail causing engines to stall, which could increase the chances of the driver crashing.
The recall covers 2018 and 2019Toyota 4Runner, Camry, Highlander, Land Cruiser, Sequoia, Sienna, Tacoma and Tundra models. Certain 2019 Avaolon and Corrollas included.
The auto-making giant also included certain 2019 and 2019 Lexus LS 500, LC 500, RC 350, RC 300, GS 350, ES 350, LX 570, GX 460 and RX 350 models.
Toyota is in the process of finding a solution to the issue.
The company will notify owners by mail in mid-March.
Toyota issued several recalls on its vehicles last year.
