DALLAS – WBAP/KLIF – Less than 24 hours after a grand re-opening following renovation, South Oak Cliff High School hosted it’s first basketball game to the public Saturday night, only to have the game broken up by gunfire that left an 18 year old man shot in the chest and rushed to an area hospital in critical condition. Police say they seek three persons of interest as shown in this accompanying photograph on the WBAP.COM website.
A Dallas Independent School District offer was reported as grazed by a bullet.
The shooting occurred as a fight broke out during the third quarter of the school hosting Kimball High School in a basketball game.
