DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – New York billionaire and Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg will stop in Dallas during his three-city Texas tour this weekend.
The candidate will also stop in Austin and San Antonio are part of a national campaign tour that kicks off on Saturday.
Bloomberg will hit 27 states as he makes his appeal to the country as to why he is the person Democrats should choose to take on President Donald Trump in the 2020 election.
In a statement, Bloomberg said in part, “President Trump has inflamed hatred and division, betrayed his constitutional oath, weakened our standing in the world, and endangered our country. if he wins another term in office, we may never recover from the damage.”
According to a recent Real Clear Politics, Bloomberg only holds about 5.6 percent of Democratic support nationally.
President Trump’s approval rating among Republicans remains high, typically polling at 80 percent or higher. His approval rating nationwide currently hovers around 43 percent.
Bloomberg will be in Dallas Sunday from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Those who wish to attend can click here for more information.
