Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – Fort Worth Police say a woman was shot in the back during an alleged armed robbery over the weekend.
27-year-old Teamri Timmons had pulled up to her mother’s house on Mars Drive late Saturday night with your 3-year son, when she says the suspect approached and demanded her belongings.
Police say she was shot while complying with the robber’s demands. He got away with her wallet.
Timmons was aided by her mother after yelling for help and honking the horn.
She was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is still at-large.
