
A former UT-San Antonio football player is charged with murdering his pregnant adult sister.
25-year old Michael Egwuagua is jailed on $500,000 bond after a reported disturbance at the Pflugerville home of his 32-year old Jennifer Ebichi.
She reportedly texted another sibling to say that their brother was having a crisis and saying strange things, according to the Austin-American Statesman.
Ebichi’s body was found lying in a pool of blood in her kitchen, allegedly stabbed by her younger brother, who according to witnesses admitted to killing.
According to a witness, the Egwuagu exited the home smiling and holding a bloody kitchen knife saying, “I killed Jennifer,” then walked into the street and knelt.
He played safety at UTSA between 2013 and 2016, according to the university’s website.
