DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – You see the images and videos every year around the holidays.
Some stranger helping themselves to a resident’s delivered packages that have been left on a porch unaware they’ve been caught on camera.
Dallas Police are asking the public to help identify the latest porch pirate caught red handed, who can be seen on video walking up to a front porch and stealing a package at a home around Inwood Road and Lovers Lane.
It happened December 16th around 6:25 p.m.
The suspect is a white man with black glasses.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. K.D. Janse #6679 at 214-671-8066 and refer to case number 806645-2019.
Police urge residents to track their packages closely online, require a signature at delivery, schedule the delivery when you are at home or ask a neighbor to hold a package for you to avoid becoming a victim.
