MIDLOTHIAN (WBAP/KLIF) – 37 year old Paul Flanigan has been sentenced to 50 years in prison, without parole, for Continuous Sexual Assault of a Child. The crime was uncovered when Flanigan took the 12 year old victim to Planned Parenthood for an abortion. The staff at the clinic contacted police.
The victim says the abuse started when she was 11. It occurred in both Dallas and Ellis counties. The girl gave birth earlier this year and DNA confirmed Flaming is the father of the baby.
“Paul Flanigan stole the innocence of a child,” said Assistant County and District Attorney Habon Mohamed, who prosecuted the case. “Flanigan will serve a just punishment for his perverse actions,” Mohamed added.
