McKinney, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – As a McKinney man was walking around his empty new house, he witnessed a FedEx driver smash through his fence, then take off.
Sankar Arumugam captured the incident on his cell phone. He told WFAA-TV that his always dreamed of owning his own home. He had just closed on it recently when this happened. He was watching from his from window.
In a statement to WFAA-TV, the company said it is handling the matter, but did not say if the driver was fired.
“The behavior depicted in this video is inconsistent with the professionalism FedEx Ground expects from its service providers. Safety is our top priority, and we are grateful that no one was injured as a result of this incident. We offer our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused by this situation and are in direct contact with the homeowner to resolve this matter.”
