Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – An investigation continues into a wrong-way crash on I-30 at Montgomery overnight
Police spotted a car with out-of-state plates going the wrong direction on the freeway and tried to stop it. Before they were able to do so, one officer witnessed the driver smash into an oncoming vehicle.
The wrong-was driver was killed, the other driver was transported to Baylor-All Saints Hospital and is expected to be okay.

Meantime, Matt Zavadsky with MedStar, Fort Worth’s ambulance service says that two of their crews encountered the wrong-way driver on the freeway and had to take evasive action.

He say the stretch of roadway is heavily used by emergency crews transporting patients from the West side to the hospital district.
